What’s Happening Between Icelandair and Southwest Airlines?

Icelandair and Southwest Airlines have signed a strategic partnership agreement, setting the stage for enhanced connectivity between their networks. It’s a major move for Southwest Airlines, which has been notoriously shy about collaboration with other airlines. Starting in February 2025, travelers will enjoy seamless connections through Baltimore/Washington International Airport (BWI). By summer, two additional connecting points, Nashville (BNA) and Denver (DEN), will expand options even further.

The partnership officially begins in February 2025, with Baltimore as the inaugural gateway for connecting flights. By summer, the network will expand to include Nashville and Denver. You’ll be able to book flights with either airline on a single itinerary.
